Product Warranty: 10-year Limited Warranty

 

Thank you for selecting DOT for your recent purchase. We recognize your enthusiasm for shooting and your need for reliable products that stand the test of time. That’s why we provide the 10-year DOT Warranty, detailed below. If you encounter any issues with your DOT product, we are committed to resolving them for you.

Our warranty guarantees that your Enhanced Holographic Sight will be free from defects in materials and workmanship (including electronics) under normal use for a period of ten (10) years. This period begins from the later of either (i) the date of the original purchase from an authorized DOT retailer or directly from DOT, as verified by the customer's proof of purchase, or (ii) the manufacturer's date/serial number found on the product. For the first five (5) years, DOT will repair or replace your product free of charge at its discretion. During years six (6) through ten (10), DOT will inspect and repair any defects in materials or workmanship for a nominal service fee, upon the customer’s request. This warranty is transferable to future owners for the remainder of the original warranty period. This warranty is our way of ensuring you can trust your purchase as much as we trust the quality of the products we create.

 

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

 

This warranty does not include:

  • Any condition resulting from any use for which the product was not intended
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, or altering any product from its original designed
  • Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance

The above warranty is exclusive, and to the extent permitted by applicable laws, shall be in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, without limitation, any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular use or purpose.

For all transactions occurring in the United States, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. Some states do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states, some exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to the purchaser. For consumer transactions, the limited warranty terms contained in this statement, except to the extent lawfully permitted, do not exclude, restrict, or modify but are in addition to the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of DOT products to the purchaser.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state to state.

 

Warranty Claims

 

To submit a request for repair, replacement, or refund of a product covered by this warranty, please contact DOT customer service at (949) 418-9017 or cs@dotronics.com, to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA#). DOT will then either accept a return of the defective product and issue a refund, the repair product, or provide a comparable replacement product at no cost to the customer. However, when returning a product, the return shipping costs must be paid by the customer.
